Chateau Jany is a property owned by the Turtaut family but managed by the esteemed Bordeaux negociant house of Schroder & Schyler.
The story of the House of Schröder & Schÿler is intimately bound up with that of the Bordeaux wine trade. One of the very few companies remaining fully under the management of the same family for more than 275 year they also the own Chateau Kirwan, a leading estate in Margaux.
The plantings here consist of 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc old vines. The character of these wines is distinguished by impressive suppleness and smoothness, yet they are endowed with classic Sauternes richness and viscocity.
A benchmark Sauternes with a nose of citrus fruits and dried fruit on the palate. Rich and smooth with a long glorious finish. Exceptional value.
