Spanning some 200 hectares, Château La Coste embodies the very essence of the Provençal landscape where nothing spoils the view. Its soils are steeped in agricultural and wine-growing traditions dating back to Roman times, and its cobbled pathways, drystone walls, bridges and wells all bear testament to this rich and diverse heritage. In the distance, you can make out the ruined village of La Quille where a fortress once stood, towering over the gateway to the Luberon and the Durance plain.
Exclusively produced from the domaine’s grape harvest, they are then assembled and bottled at the Château. Spanning some 125 hectares, and all organically cultivated in adherence with biodynamic techniques, are our red grape varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Grenache Noir, Syrah - and our white grape varieties - Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Sauvignon Blanc and Ugni Blanc - for an annual production of some 600,000 bottles.
Their vines are certified Organic since 2009 and Biodynamic since 2022.
Their array of vintages allows them to offer fresh and expressive wines for immediate drinking, as well as more structured, accomplished wines for ageing. Without exception, their aim is to produce wines that deliver balance, authenticity and quality, while respecting the terroir and the environment. Each tasting provides a rare sensory insight into the philosophy of Château La Coste - awakening memories, inspiring future visits or simply allowing for the enjoyment of a perfect moment.
