Description

Pulenta Estate is owned and run by brothers, Hugo and Eduardo Pulenta. The estate is situated in Alto Agrelo in Mendoza, Argentina's main wine producing region. This excellent site makes wines of real class and distinction. Their 135 hectares of quality vineyards enjoy perfect climatic conditions at an altitude of 980m, with melting ice from the Andes Mountains providing a natural irrigation system. This Estate red sees 12 months in new French oak as well as 12 months ageing in bottle before release.

Gran Corte is their 'Grand Vin' which has been aged for 18 months in French barriques, 50% of which were new.

This is full-bodied and classy with rich blueberry, black plum and well integrated oak spice. There are also hints of Mediterranean herbs, such as thyme. We recommend decanting this and letting it breathe for at least half an hour for full pleasure. It will show best after 2024.
