Description

This is a family-run, but sizeable domaine. The three generations of winemakers from the family have been pioneers in many ways. They have always had a long-term vision: agriculture of high quality has to be sustainable and responsible.

Based in Mormoiron, amongst the foothills of the Ventoux, whose snow-topped peak towers majestically over the surrounding region, the estate really benefits from the cooler climate of the appellation. The estate is planted mainly with Syrah and Grenache on soils that are surprisingly light, with plenty of small stones, gravel and sand. This lightness of soil and the greater altitude help to provide a dynamic core that runs through all the wines and gives them wonderful drinkability.

There is a small amount of white planted, too, which is picked early to maximise vibrancy. 

This aromatic, pure wine has a wonderful texture to make an elegant partner with various food. Lots of bang for your buck in this bottle!
