Our favourite and the longest standing English wine producer in our range. Founded in 2006, the charming Husband & wife team of Wendy & Charles Outhwaite create exceptional sparkling wines in the village of Nutbourne, West Sussex.

This family run vineyard sits on sunny south-facing slopes overlooking the South Downs. West Sussex is blessed with rare free-draining greensand – excellent for viticulture in a country renowned for the occasional rain shower. The underlying greensand rock stores heat from the sun and reflects it to help ripen the grapes.

The Classic Cuvée is a traditional blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Even though it is labelled as non-vintage, the wine is based on the 2014 vintage. It has the crisp elegance of an English gentleman and perfect balance. The Classic Cuvée is a wonderful aperitif and is particularly good with canapés and fish (especially sushi).
