The magnificent Haras de Pirque estate occupies a privileged position at the foot of the Andes, in Chile’s Maipo Valley region. It all started as a collaboration between the local Matte family and Antinori in the ‘90s to produce “Albis”, a wine that wants to represent the union between Old and New World. Antinori took full ownership in 2017 and relaunched the range with new additions.
Hussonet recalls the name of one of the most famous stallions in Chilean equestrianism. It is an elegant and charming wine with a great territorial identity. The vineyards are located in the prestigious Maipo Valley, ideal for the production of high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months and then 12 months in the bottle. A wine with a long and persistent flavour with delicate notes of chocolate and cedar and pleasant tannins. A true classic from the Maipo Andes.
Deep red in colour. On the nose, chocolate notes are in harmony with aromas of rosemary and laurel, characteristic of this terroir. On the palate, it is a concentrated and smooth wine, with silky and persistent tannins that frame the potential of this variety in Pirque.
