Pierre Peters is a grower Champagne with 19 hectares of vineyards in the Côte de Blancs. Based in the famed village of Le Mesnil sur Oger, the family has been making Champagne for 6 generations and Grand Cru Blanc des Blancs since 1919. They are a genuine Chardonnay specialist with 100% of their vineyards dedicated to this grape. Their plots sit amongst the greatest Grand Cru villages of Champagne - Avize, Les Mesnil sur Oger, Cramant and Oger

The Extra Brut is the driest wine in the Pierre Peters range with just 2g/l dosage. It also has only 20% reserves wines, compared to the much higher portions used in the Cuvee de Reserve (50%) and Grand Reserve (100%). Sourced from only Grand Cru vineyards in the villages of Le Mesnil, Avize, Cramant and Oger, it is aged for 36 months on lees. This is tight and chalky with fine citrus and bready notes over a tight, transparent palate. A delicate style what goes well as an a apertif or match for a delicate starter.
