The Boatyard Distillery is an award-winning farm-to-bottle distillery located on the banks of Lough Erne in the northwest of Ireland. Using his background in spirits, founder Joe McGirr realised his dream to build the first legal distillery in Fermanagh in more than 130 years. Joe’s vision was inspired by his family’s rich farming history – from grandad Brian who was a ploughing contractor to father Michael who was a dairy and beef farmer, the McGirr family have been part of the fabric of Fermanagh for centuries.

Boatyard Sloe Boat Gin is a new permanent release, developed and distilled by the Boatyard team in Co. Fermanagh, Ireland. It is made by steeping wild-grown, handpicked sloe berries for six months in a bespoke gin. Using a very high proportion of sloe berries to spirit gives a rich natural flavour which is then gently sweetened with sustainably sourced organic sugar. The sloe gin displays notes of sweet plum and cassis, married perfectly with sloe berry tartness and dry juniper. The new Boatyard Sloe Boat is perfect neat and in cocktails, especially the Charlie Chaplin and various winter warmers.
