Château Roudier Montagne Saint-Emilion 2019

Description

This 3.7-hectare property is superbly situated on the plateau of Saint-Emilion. Its biggest parcel adjoins La Fleur Petrus and is 100m from the actual Petrus vineyard. Since 2015 Roudier's vineyards have been in conversion towards organic viticulture with vine average age over 50 years old. The blend is 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. The Artemis Group’s investment here is driving quality even higher.

This is rich, ripe and luscious red berry and plum fruit on the nose. The palate is soft with raspberry, blackberry, plum and fig plus capsicum and vanilla which lingers on the palate.
