      The Scarbolo estate in Lauzacco is located only 15 km from the Italian border with Slovenia. Seven separate vineyards, comprising 30 hectares, are planted to traditional Friulian varieties — Friulano (formerly Tocai Friulano), Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet and Pinot Grigio.

      The estate is family-run, Lara who gives their chardonnay its name is winemaker, and Mattia, also their top barrel aged pinot grigio, runs all operations. Their winery is certified sustainable and all wines are produced vegan.
