This is a family-owned and run single - estate Sancerre. Winemaker Éric Louis and Sophie Bertin, a native from Sancerre make this wine from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on flinty and chalky-clayey soils in Thauvenay, Ménétréol sous Sancerre and Vinon.
Through Ecocert, the estate focuses on the reduction in the use of chemical products and the recovery of biodiversity in the vineyards.
This Sancerre is fresh zesty and pungent with aromas of lime, white, grapefruit and crisp cool fruit. The palate offers plenty of citrus and stone fruit flavours, as well as the classic saline, minerality on the finish that is characteristic of all good Sancerre.
