A rare collection of 3 vintages of Australia's most famous wine.
2012 Grange - 99 points
2013 Grange - 100 points
2104 Grange - ????
The original and most powerful expression of Penfolds multi-vineyard, multi-district blending philosophy, Grange is Australia’s most celebrated wine and is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia.
Crafted utilising fully-ripe, intensely-flavoured and structured Shiraz grapes, the result is a unique Australian style that is now recognised as one of the most consistent of the world’s great wines. With an unbroken line of vintages from the experimental 1951, Grange clearly demonstrates the synergy between Shiraz and the soils and climates of South Australia.
It is recognised as Australia's greatest wine with a track record of ageing that stretches up to 50 years in the best vintages, and rarely does Grange even begin to hit stride until at least 15 years old.
This case will be delivered in early November when the 2014 vintage of Grange will be available.
