Vigneti del Sole was established in1925 by four Pasqua brothers, Natale, Nicola, Riccardo and Umberto. After moving from Italy's southern Puglia to Veneto to establish their company, the brothers shared their knowledge with the second generation of Pasqua brothers, who today, along with their own sons and daughters continue to run the company.
In 2000, the family decided to uproot their operations and return to their home of Puglia. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is grown extensively in central and eastern Italy.
This wine offers a dark fruit character of blackberry, morello cherry and, plum. With soft tannins and a pleasant white pepper finish this is a versatile, food friendly wine.
