The Miquel family has tended to vineyards in the heart of Languedoc for many centuries. In 1791 they acquired the Cazal Viel Estate, which had previously been farmed by the monks of the nearby Abbey of Fontcaude.
Typical southern French blend with dominant spicy Syrah and juicy full Grenache. This wine offers a ripe nose of red fruits, with delicious mocha herbs and spices. The palate is mellow with intense berry flavours and characteristic rosemary, thyme and floral notes. A real taste of the garrigue.
