Description

When Christian Jensen first tasted the vintage gins from London's lost distilleries, he began a journey. Creating a finely balanced gin that honoured these forgotten recipes became his obsession. That's why Jensen's is distilled in small batches, using only traditional gin botanicals. So there's really nothing new about Jensen's, and that's why it's different. Distilled in Bermondsey, London, Jensen's is gin as it was. Gin as it should be.

Bermondsey in the mid-19th Century was both a centre for trade and industry, and a notorious slum. Close to the River Thames and crammed with wharves and warehouses, it was the place where London's food was produced and stored. These days the warehouses are restaurants, and the weekend food markets provide delicacies for locals and visitors alike. And so Bermondsey continues its legacy as ‘London's Larder’. Distilling historical gins in Jensen's converted railway arch with trains thundering overhead, they are proud to be a part of that tradition.

A Premium Handcrafted Cocktail Jensen's Negroni is a meticulously crafted cocktail expertly mixed by Charlie Thomas, Jensen's Head of Production and Mixologist. This delightful concoction brings together the perfect harmony of flavours, featuring 35ml of Old Tom gin, 35ml of Cocchi Vermouth, and 35ml of Campari, all carefully combined to create an unparalleled taste experience.

Ingredients: 35ml Old Tom gin 35ml Cocchi Vermouth 35ml Campari Dash of freshly grated orange zest

Preparation: In a mixing glass, combine 35ml of Old Tom gin, 35ml of Cocchi Vermouth 35ml of Campari. Stirr the mixture gently with ice to achieve the ideal balance of flavors and temperature. Strain the cocktail into a chilled serving glass. Add a dash of fresh orange oil to enhance the aromatic profile of the drink. Optionally, serve over a large ice cube for a slow dilution that preserves the cocktail's integrity.

The Negroni is best savoured straight up in a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel for an exquisite finishing touch.
