Description

Located between Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, in Pernand Vergelesses, Burgundy, Domaine Rapet develop great value wines located around the prestigious hill of Corton.

Mature Pinot Noir, this is barrel-aged, with 20% of the casks being virgin oak – there is minimal handling of the grape to preserve the wine's inherent rich quality. There are abundant fruit aromas on the nose, including bramble, cherry and damson. The palate displays ripe fruit, with cinnamon and nutmeg on the finish. Delicious!

Perfect with fillet of beef, sautéed veal, lacquered lamb shoulder, coq au vin-style duck fricassee or a beautiful cheese platter.
