Douglas Laing’s Provenance Single Malts are bottled exactly as the distiller intended – without colouring or chill-filtration; enabling the naturally present oils, fats and enzymes in the Whisky to make their own special contribution to the nose, mouthfeel, palate and finish. This particular expression from the Dailuaine Distillery has spent 8 years maturing in a single Refill Butt. Fresh malted barley, sweet caramel, warm butter popcorn and crunchy biscuits. Very fruity with green apples and pears, moving to orange and lemon peel on the finish.
