The story of Au Bon Climat goes sideways with the story of Jim Clendenen, a gifted winemaker. Jim was also the quintessential salesperson promoting Au Bon Climat and Santa Barbara County as a world class wine region. Au Bon Climat winery was totally devoted to making classic, Burgundian styled Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. As the fads in California winemaking have come and gone, Au Bon Climat has maintained a laser focus in producing traditional, site-specific, nuanced, iconic wines.

Join us for a unique journey through Jim Clendenen’s wines, “The Mind Behind” Au Bon Climat. This event will be hosted by Jonathan Scarfe, Brand Manager of the Au Bon Climat. We will be showing a selection of 6 wines, which highlight the individual styles of these unique wines.

Complimentary cheese and charcuterie sharing boards will also be provided.
