Ambriel Brut Rosé 2015 Case (6 bottles)

Description

The family run vineyard sits on sunny south-facing slopes overlooking the South Downs. West Sussex is blessed with rare free-draining greensand – excellent for viticulture in a country renowned for the occasional rain shower. The underlying greensand rock stores heat from the sun and reflects it to help ripen the grapes.

The Ambriel Rose 2015 is a traditional method English Sparkling Rose which is made a little differently. It is crafted from hand-selected Pinot Noir grapes from a single, low-yielding Burgundian clone (777) from rows 2-39 of the East vineyard. It was vinified with skin contact (rather than blending a white and red wine) turning it every 3 hours to create the delicate pink colour. It is a Rose that is succulent and juicy with depth, structure and complexity.
