Since 1620, Château de Pennautier has been at the heart of the history of Languedoc wines.

12 generations have succeeded each other to create exceptional wines. Nicolas de Lorgeril and his wife, Miren de Saint Chamas, have since 1987 developed their roots beyond the Château de Pennautier, the historic family cradle.

Today, the House owns 6 estates , over 250 hectares of vines. They represent the most beautiful terroirs of Languedoc and Roussillon and cover 8 Appellations d'Origines Contrôlées (Cabardès, Minervois, Minervois-la-Livinière, Saint-Chinian, Faugères, Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Languedoc).

Citrus - most notably lemony - aromas combined with floral notes on the nose. Fresh, lively and thirst-quenching on the palate. This delicious example carries a greater marine/saline feel than many Picpouls, a markedly greater intensity of flavour and a longer-lasting finish. The crisp acidity here also cuts through buttery and creamy sauces on your fish and white meats.
