Cuvee Monsignori is the latest creation of Estate Argyros that ideally portrays the characteristics of the unique terroir of Santorini. It is produced with the vines of the vineyard of Episkopi â€“ the oldest of Santorini â€“ which has been cultivated by the Argyros Estate for more than 2 centuries.
Citrus fruits, green apples, and apricots in the nose are followed by mineral notes and even faint sage notes. Rich in the palate with excellent structure and finesse has an unequaled balance between maturity and youthful mood.
Accompanies perfectly white meats cooked in lemon sauce, shellfish, grilled or fried fish, barbecued seafood, and various eggplant dishes. Best served at 10-12Â°C.
â€˜Beautiful, light-footed intensity. The freshness is so marked it is almost spicy, but it is fully integrated. Full of energy and pure, pure non-fruity fruit. Great length and finesse with underlying power. Some lees creaminess in the texture but overridden by the minerality.â€™
