Located on one of the finest terroirs in the appellation, the vineyard comprises just 2 hectares on the southern slopes of the Pomerol plateau surrounding the church. The soils are a combination of gravel and sandwich in iron. Owned by the Gasparoux family for more than 30 years, son Henri has introduced modern wine making techniques, while maintaining a healthy respect for tradition.
A plump and forthcoming Pomerol with a rich, brambly fruits and great depth this is a more powerful wine than the 2014. A beautiful and traditional Pomerol note of truffle and bitter chocolate makes this a delicious wine for the festive season.
