Coming from granitic soil and the total absence of oak, gives you an honest, punchy and zippy wine that will go a treat with a richer seafood dish. We love the "nakedness" of the wine. It has a beautiful minerality to it, but also lime zest and magnolia flowers on the nose. The palate has the perfect weight while the natural acidity liberally distributes the flavors of lime sorbet, quince and green apple. Made under the watchful eyes of Chris Alheit.
1600 bottles produced. From decomposed granite quartz soils. Picked early morning at around 22 brix. Whole bunch pressed, settled overnight and moved to a concrete egg for fermentation (10 months).
