Grape grower-winemaker in Avize, Côte des Blancs. Their 12 hectares vineyard is mainly spread out in Grand Cru villages planted with Chardonnay, a white grape picked and pressed with great care by us. Their winegrower’s approach is natural. The vineyard soils have always been maintained through ploughing and every year we add compost made from local ingredients to vineyard. The organic life of the soil assures the health and productivity of the vineyard. All Champagne wine are neither fined nor filtered. They are bottles at the domain and are hand riddled.
This cuvee is a blend of 2 vintages of 7 different villages: 4 Grand Cru villages and 2 Premier Crus villages .
Composed of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir. Disgorged 2 months before the release date and dosage limited to 7 grams of sugar per liter. This is the entry level, Chardonnay-based cuvée from this very talented grower family. As the name suggests, the grapes come from seven different villages around the Champagne house in Avize. It may be the entry level but it offers so much more depth and energy than any other Champagne in its price category. The nose is so elegant, with aromas of white flowers and a hint of honey. Very pure with an amazing mouthfeel combined with nectarine, apple and a herbaceous character, with a very fine minerality.
